Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a Trainer Assessor for a Multi-Skilled – Prestrip role in Queensland. You will train and operate, assess and mentor operators on CAT 793 & CAT 797 Dump Trucks, Wheel Dozer 854K and WA1200 to support production.

Qualifications

• Current resume detailing mining and training experience.
• Current Driver's Licence, Coal Board Medical & Standard 11.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TA16 or higher).
• Current Training Transcript showing SSE-signed skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate & Train, assess, and mentor operators on CAT 793 & CAT 797 Dump Trucks, Wheel Dozer 854K and WA1200.
• Coach operators in efficient loading practices and spotting techniques.
• Work across Prestrip combining hands-on production with workforce development.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Trainer Assessor, you will work across Prestrip combining hands-on production with workforce development. These roles require individuals who can both train and operate production equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Multi Skilled Crew Trainers - Prestrip (1 D crew)

Operate & Train, assess, and mentor operators on CAT 793 & CAT 797 Dump Trucks, Wheel Dozer 854K and WA1200 to support production activities

Coach operators in efficient loading practices, including single-side, double-side, and self-spotting techniques

What You Will Need

Current Resume detailing relevant mining and training experience

Current Driver's Licence, Coal Board Medical & Standard 11

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TA16 or higher)

Current Training Transcript with SSE-signed skills list demonstrating competency on the required machinery for the position applied for
