Job summary

Workpac Group is hiring a Trainer Assessor / Multi-Skilled Operator for a coal mine in the Moranbah region. You will train and assess operators across Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders and Water Carts, and contribute to on-site safety and efficiency.

The role features a 7:7 day/night roster with 12.75-hour shifts, and is available to DIDO or residential candidates from Mackay or Rockhampton. Prior validation of skills and relevant certifications is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience operating and training Dump Trucks 793/797/T282, Dozers D10/D11, Watercarts 785 or Graders 16m/24m.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is required.
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical within last 5 years or willingness to attain.

Responsibilities

• Train and assess on-site operators across Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders and Water Carts.
• Operate machinery and support safe, efficient coal mining operations.
• Maintain compliance with safety and site procedures.
• Participate in a 7:7 day/night roster and on-site coaching.

Trainer Assessor / Multi-Skilled Operator – Dump Truck/Water Cart/Grader/Dozer

$85.50p/hour casual + super on all rostered shifts

7:7 Roster, Day/Night shift, Thurs-Wed

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with local, DIDO and BIBO opportunities available.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be working as a Trainer Assessor / Multi-Skilled Operator within the Pre-Strip Department on a Coal Mine in the Moranbah region. You will be operating a variety of machinery such as Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders and Water Carts as well as Training and Assessing on site. You must be experienced and skilled on Dump Trucks and 2 other skills mentioned. You will be working a 7:7 Day/Night shift roster, 12.75hr shifts running Thurs-Wed. These roles are available to DIDO or residential candidates BIBO services from Mackay or Rockhampton.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum 3yrs experience Operating and Training Dump Trucks 793/797/T282, Dozers D10, D11, Watercarts 785 or Graders 16m, 24m.
• Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 5 years or be willing to attain this.
• SSE Signed skills list within 5yrs
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia.
