Melbourne Girls Grammar is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Violin Teacher to join our Music Faculty as a Music Itinerant. This casual role supports the delivery of the School's Music Program through individual tuition across the Junior and Middle years.

Qualifications

• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Violin pedagogy.
• Experience teaching individual Violin lessons to students across ages.
• Ability to engage, inspire and motivate young people in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual violin lessons to Junior and Middle Years.
• Assist in the Year 2/3 String Program.
• Collaborate with the Music Faculty to support the school’s music program.

About the Role:

• Casual position.
• Assisting in the Year 2/3 String Program
• Individual lessons in Junior and Middle Years

The Successful Applicant Will Bring

• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Violin pedagogy.
• Experience teaching individual Violin lessons to students across a range of ages and abilities.
• Experience working with students across Years 5 to 12.
• A passion for music education and the ability to engage, inspire and motivate young people.
• An inclusive and strengths-based approach to teaching and learning.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic Music Faculty.
