Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure migration, platform refresh, integration, testing and cutover activities.
• Develop high-quality technical documentation and engage with architects, cyber security specialists, vendors and operational teams to ensure successful delivery and service transition.
• Ensure successful delivery and service transition in secure environments.

A leading Federal Government organisation is looking to engage multiple experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineers / Technical Leads to support major ICT infrastructure modernisation, migration and transformation programs. The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineers / Technical Leads will work across enterprise infrastructure, virtualisation, backup and recovery, end-user computing, solution design and technical architecture. These are long-term contract opportunities with extension options and rewarding hourly rates!

The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineers / Technical Leads will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Designing, building and modernising enterprise infrastructure platforms across compute, storage, virtualisation, backup, networking and end-user computing.

Leading infrastructure migration, platform refresh, integration, testing, cutover and transition activities across complex and secure environments.

Developing high-quality technical documentation and working closely with architects, cyber security specialists, vendors and operational teams to ensure successful delivery and service transition.

The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineers / Technical Leads will have experience in the following:

Demonstrated experience across enterprise infrastructure technologies such as Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, Commvault, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory, enterprise storage and networking.

Strong experience delivering infrastructure modernisation, platform refresh, migration, virtualisation, backup/recovery or end-user computing solutions within complex enterprise environments.

Experience producing technical designs and operational documentation, with strong stakeholder engagement and experience working within secure, segregated or highly regulated environments.

The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineers / Technical Leads will be offered long-term contract opportunities with extension options and rewarding hourly rates! Candidates will be required to hold or be able to obtain an NV1 security clearance, with roles primarily based in Canberra and hybrid working arrangements available depending on the position.
