Compas Pty Ltd in Canberra, ACT is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to build secure .NET and Angular solutions on Microsoft Azure during a cloud modernisation program. The role requires analysing legacy codebases and delivering data-driven applications with REST APIs.

The contract is hybrid with a 12-month term and potential extensions. Candidates must have Baseline clearance or higher and be able to obtain security clearance.

Full Stack Software Developer | Azure & .NET
Join a major cloud modernisation program as a Full Stack Software Developer, building secure .NET and Angular solutions on Microsoft Azure while modernising complex legacy and data-intensive applications.
Location :Canberra, ACT
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Duration: 12 months with up to 3 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: Must have a Baseline or higher

Essential Tasks

• Design, develop, test and maintain cloud-native .NET applications and REST APIs on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop modern Angular applications and contribute across the full application stack.
• Analyse legacy .NET, C++, Python and SQL codebases, business rules and calculation logic.
• Build and optimise data-intensive solutions using SQL Server, Azure SQL and Azure data services.

Key Criteria

• Extensive C#, .NET/.NET Framework and Microsoft Azure development experience.
• Strong software engineering skills across REST APIs, testing, CI/CD, security and observability.
• Full stack development experience with Angular or comparable JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience, including optimisation and performance tuning.
