Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead Microsoft Azure architectures within a major Australian Government technology environment in Canberra. The role shapes secure, resilient, and scalable Azure solutions from requirements through implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise security and governance standards.

You will design and oversee solution patterns, provide implementation guidance, and manage risks to ensure compliant delivery across priorities in a demanding

Qualifications

• Significant cloud or digital transformation architecture experience with accountability for architecture decisions and delivery outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills translating business requirements into practical solution designs.
• Experience leading complex technology implementations and working independently across competing priorities.
• Strong understanding of Australian Government governance, security, assurance and procurement requirements.

Cloud Solutions Architect | Microsoft Azure
Lead cloud solution architecture across a major Australian Government technology environment, shaping secure, resilient and scalable Microsoft Azure solutions from requirements through implementation.

Location: ACT
Contract Duration: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1
