Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a hands-on Midrange Developer to join a high-performing Agile team focused on enterprise-scale digital services. You will work across the full software lifecycle, developing and supporting cloud-based solutions in a DevOps environment.

The role emphasizes building REST APIs, microservices, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable software. Canberra-based hybrid work is required, with an immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core and Web APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL and database development.
• Experience building RESTful services and microservices.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core and Visual Studio.

• Build, enhance and support enterprise applications hosted in cloud environments.

• Investigate incidents, troubleshoot defects and implement sustainable fixes.
• Manage source code using Git and contribute to CI/CD deployment processes.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Midrange Developer to join a high-performing Agile delivery team focused on building and supporting enterprise-scale digital services.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on .NET Developer who enjoys working across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design through to development, testing, deployment and support. You will work within a collaborative DevOps environment, contributing to modern cloud-based solutions and secure digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core and Visual Studio.

Mandatory Requirements

• Australian Citizenship is required.
• Must hold an active Baseline Security Clearance.
• Ability to work in a Canberra-based hybrid environment (3 Days Onite)
