Job summary

Balance Health Clubs is seeking a Casual Multifunctional Attendant in the Mayfield area to welcome members, handle enquiries and keep the club clean and safe. You’ll support sales, process payments and help maintain a high standard of service across reception and facilities.

You will be friendly, flexible and able to work across weekdays, weekends, day and evening shifts at Mayfield, New Lambton and Cardiff locations. Training and career pathways are available.

Qualifications

• Reception, administration or customer service experience.
• Experience in fitness, leisure or hospitality is desirable.
• Current First Aid Certificate is required.
• Current CPR Certificate is required.
• WWCC (Working With Children Check) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with membership enquiries and sales.
• Process payments and balance tills.
• Open and close the club.
• Complete stocktakes and maintain club presentation.
• Build strong member relationships and deliver good service.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance issues.

About the Role

As a Casual Multifunctional Attendant, you'll be the friendly face of the club, helping create positive experiences for our members while maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with membership enquiries and sales
• Processing payments and balancing tills
• Opening and closing the club
• Completing stocktakes
• Building strong member relationships
• Maintaining club presentation and cleanliness
• Monitoring equipment and reporting maintenance issues

This casual role requires flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, day and evening shifts at our Mayfield, New Lambton and Cardiff locations.

About You

You are:

• Passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing

• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service
• Confident using computers and administrative systems

Highly regarded:

• Reception, administration or customer service experience
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Experience within fitness, leisure or hospitality

Required:

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Candidates who hold, or are working towards, a Certificate III in Fitness may have the opportunity to upskill and teach Reformer Pilates, Cycle and Aqua classes.
