Job summary

Tea-Cup Cottage Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead purchasing, inventory and supply strategy across its cafés, bakery, catering, cooking school and specialty venues.

You will plan, direct and control the supply, storage and distribution of food, beverage and consumables, negotiate supplier contracts, design inventory systems, forecast demand and manage budgets and reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• A bachelor degree in supply chain management, logistics, procurement or a related field.
• At least three years' experience in supply chain, procurement or inventory management.
• Strong supplier negotiation and contract management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with point-of-sale or inventory systems (Square desirable).
• Strong analytical and forecasting ability.
• Project management qualifications or experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing purchasing, inventory and supply strategies across multiple venues.
• Negotiating supplier contracts and pricing to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements, including consolidating group purchasing.
• Designing and managing inventory systems, stock levels, par levels and stock rotation to minimise cost and waste.
• Forecasting demand from sales data and ensuring re-ordering at optimal times.
• Establishing and managing procurement and labour cost budgets, and monitoring expenditure against COGS and labour targets.
• Overseeing the recording of purchase, stock and supply transactions and reporting performance to senior management.
• Working with venue managers to drive accountability for cost and supply targets, and directing staff in procurement and stock processes.
• Leading process improvement and supply-related projects across the business.

About the role

You will plan, direct and control the supply, storage and distribution of food, beverage and consumable goods across our venues. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing purchasing, inventory and supply strategies, policies and plans across multiple venues

Negotiating supplier contracts and pricing to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements, including consolidating group purchasing

Designing and managing inventory systems, stock levels, par levels and stock rotation to minimise cost and waste
