Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking an HR Truck Driver (Front & Hook Lift) in Emerald. This role covers day-to-day waste collection operations, operating Front Lift and Hook Lift vehicles, and delivering loads to recycling facilities. The position is temporary-to-permanent with a strong emphasis on safety.

You will work Monday to Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm, with potential overtime and weekend shifts. A clean driving record, an Unrestricted HR Licence (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ), and full working rights in

Qualifications

• Hold an Unrestricted HR Licence (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) as a minimum.
• Have a clean driving record with experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Be willing to work some rostered weekend shifts when required.
• Have full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Operate HR collection vehicles including Front Lift and Hook Lift systems.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Manage safe loading/unloading procedures and interact professionally with clients.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.

HR Driver wanted in Emerald. Mon–Fri, 5am–1pm, $43.39/hr. Front & Hook Lift. Temp-to-perm with great support and weekly pay.

Synergie is seeking an HR Truck Driver (Front & Hook Lift) for a leading waste and recycling services organisation located in Emerald.

The important parts:

Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pm, with overtime available

What you will be required to do:

You will be supporting day-to-day waste collection operations across the wider region, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional service delivery.

• Operate HR collection vehicles including Front Lift and Hook Lift systems
• Complete daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Manage safe loading/unloading procedures and interact professionally with clients
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, compliant work environment

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold an Unrestricted HR Licence (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) as a minimum
• Have a clean driving record and experience operating heavy vehicles
• Be confident multi-tasking and manually operating truck controls
• Be willing to work some rostered weekend shifts when required
• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have reliable transport to get to work on time
• Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and commitment to Zero Harm

Required PPE: Long sleeve shirt, long drill pants, high-vis, and steel-capped boots.
