Job summary

WorkPac Group in Emerald, QLD is seeking an experienced HR Multi System Operator to join our waste management client. You will operate collection vehicles across the Emerald region, complete loading tasks, and perform daily safety checks.

This temp-to-permanent role runs Monday to Saturday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM. A valid HR licence, clean driving record, and ability to pass pre-employment checks are required to start.

Qualifications

• HR licence (Heavy Rigid) required and valid in Australia.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment checks.
• Experience operating collection equipment or similar vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate collection vehicles across the Emerald region.
• Perform side arm lift loading and unloading tasks.
• Operate company collection vehicles and equipment.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Complete daily pre-starts and maintenance checks.
• Interact professionally with clients and customers.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of the vehicle.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading waste management and recycling provider delivering safe, reliable, and efficient collection and disposal services. They are seeking an experienced HR Multi System Operator to join their team in Emerald.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operate collection vehicles throughout the wider Emerald region
• Perform side arm lift loading and unloading tasks
• Operate company collection vehicles and equipment
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Complete daily pre-starts and maintenance checks
• Interact professionally with clients and customers
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of the vehicle

What You Will Need

• Unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) Australian Licence
• Clean driving record
• Driver History Report
• Experience operating vehicle controls and collection equipment
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Flexibility to work rostered Saturdays
• Strong safety and Zero Harm mindset
• Ability to complete required pre-employment checks and inductions
