Job summary

WorkPac, on behalf of Anglo American, is seeking experienced mobile mining equipment operators for an open cut mine in Queensland. You will perform pre-start checks, operate CAT machinery and strictly follow site safety procedures to support productive operations.

The role offers a 7/7 rotating day/night roster, camp accommodation with meals, daily camp-to-site transport, full PPE, immediate start, and potential for permanent conversion after six months.

Qualifications

• Electric Haul Truck operation skills.
• Standard 11 induction current.
• Coal Board Medical current.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Right to Work in Australia.
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
• CAT 16M/24M graders experience.
• CAT D10/D11 experience.
• CAT 992K/854 experience.

Responsibilities

• Operating mobile mining equipment in an open cut mining environment.
• Conducting pre-start checks and basic equipment inspections.
• Adhering to all site safety procedures and compliance requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and equipment care.
