Job summary

Golding Contractors seeks a multi-skilled Operator to join the Curragh South Mine production team on a 7/7 DIDO roster, with meals and accommodation provided. Local housing allowance for locals; bus transport available.

You will operate excavators and related equipment, with safety and reliability at the forefront, and opportunities for training and internal promotion within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators and mining equipment.
• Commitment to safety and site compliance.
• Current Drivers Licence and Standard 11.
• Willingness to work a 7/7 DIDO roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and related mining equipment as required.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity on site.
• Follow site procedures and report anomalies promptly.
• Support training and development pathways where possible.

Golding are seekingexperiencedMulti-skilled Operatorsto join our Production team atCurraghSouth Mine, nearBlackwater,working on aDrive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) 7/7 rotating roster.

Local employees are eligible for aHousing Allowance, whereas non-local employees receiveCamp Accommodationin Blackwater andMeals.Bus transportbetween camp and site are also provided.

We are looking for Operators thatcan operate and are experienced in operating thefollowing:

Excavators (highly regarded):Caterpillar 6060BH, Hitachi EX3600-5, EX5600-6, Liebherr R996B

Role requirements

Demonstrated commitment to safety and site compliance;

Proven ability to work productively and professionally;

Current Training Transcripts;

Current Drivers Licence;

Current Standard 11;

Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to pass);

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A as required;

Current Trainer Assessor qualifications and/or experience in a mining environment would be highly regarded;

People with pit dewatering experience are also encouraged to apply.

Permanent full-time employment with job stability.

Work-life balance with a 7/7 roster (Thursday to Wednesday)

Early finish on the last day shift to allow safe travel home for local staff (or optional overtime).

DIDO role with meals and accommodation provided — just a short bus ride to site.
