Job summary

Golding Contractors is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join the South Walker Creek Mine team. The role involves routine servicing and maintenance of heavy equipment, fault finding, and working as part of a dedicated team to minimise downtime on production assets.

You will hold a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology, current LVR/CPR, a valid driver’s licence, and a Coal Board Medical.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology required.
• Current Coal Board Medical or ability to pass.
• Current Standard 11 certification.
• LVR/CPR within the last 12 months.
• Experience working on electric drive haul trucks.
• Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and maintenance of equipment at site workshop and on field.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance administration in a timely, legible manner.
• Participate in toolbox and safety meetings.
• Engage in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Method Statement reviews.
• Operate as part of a team to minimise downtime of production assets.

We are currently seeking an experiencedAutoElectricianto join our team at South Walker Creek Mine, just 1.5 hours fromMackay.With a strong partnership in place with our client Stanmore, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing project that has recently secured afive-year contract extension until 2031.

This role operates on a7/7 roster, rotatingday and nightshifts.Accommodation, meals,andbus transportbetween camp and siteare provided.

Key Role Tasks

Experience working on the following equipment:

Graders 16, 24M

Working as part of a team to ensure minimal downtime of production equipment

Routine servicing and maintenance of all equipment both site workshop and field based

Fault finding and trouble shooting

Complete all maintenance administration requirements in a timely and legible manner

Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings

Participate in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Work Method Statement Reviews

Role Requirements

Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology

Current LVR/CPR (within the last 12 months)

Current Drivers Licence

Current Standard 11

Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to pass)

Experience working on electric drive haul trucks

Solid troubleshooting & diagnostic skill

Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour

7/7 Day and Night Roster

DIDO with camp accommodation provided
