Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator for our Reedy Creek base on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster to operate and maintain gas processing facilities and water gathering stations in the Surat Basin.

You will monitor plant performance, troubleshoot equipment, and support maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations while living in or relocating to the Maranoa region.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Process Plant Operations.
• A trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation disciplines is desireable.
• Experience within gas processing, oil & gas, resources or a similar industrial operating environment.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices, risk management and environmental stewardship.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and work effectively across multiple disciplines.
• A proactive, team-first mindset with a willingness to live in or relocate to the Maranoa region.

About the role:

Join our Reedy Creek team on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster and play a key role in operating and maintaining critical gas processing infrastructure. As a Multi-Skilled Operator, you'll work alongside a highly capable team to monitor plant performance, troubleshoot equipment, support maintenance activities and help ensure our assets operate safely, reliably and efficiently every day.
