Job summary

Kaly Construction Pty is seeking a Multi-Skilled Machine Operator for FIFO Civil Construction with an immediate start. You will operate a range of machinery across civil works, reading plans, and ensuring accurate grades while coordinating with supervisors for safe production.

Ideal candidates hold an HR licence, have experience on Tier 1 projects, and are comfortable with a 3 weeks on/1 week off FIFO roster and a National Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current HR driver's licence.
• Tickets and demonstrated competency operating excavators, skid steers and rollers.
• Proven machine operating experience on Tier 1 civil or infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience working FIFO rosters.
• Availability to work a 3 weeks on / 1 week off roster.
• Current National Police Clearance is mandatory to apply.
• Ability to read civil drawings and assist with marking out footings and trenches.
• Confidence using laser levels, interpreting heights and excavating to grade.
• Experience backfilling and operating around structures.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate machinery across a range of civil construction activities, including excavating and marking out footings and trenches, reading plans and interpreting levels, heights and excavation requirements, using laser levels and digging accurately to specified grades, loading and unloading trucks, plant and materials, backfilling and compacting around foundations, trenches and structures, working carefully around existing structures and completed works, and coordinating with supervisors and crews to maintain safe, efficient production.
