Job summary

Viva Leisure is seeking an experienced Handyman/General Maintenance to join the internal facilities team in Perth and surrounding areas. This permanent, full-time role offers stable income, variety across a portfolio of well-equipped facilities, and a supportive team behind you.

You will bring solid hands-on experience in maintenance, across building upkeep, minor repairs, and equipment servicing, with a proactive, independent work style and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a handyman, general maintenance, or trade role.
• Strong practical skills across building maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment servicing.
• Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot problems on the spot.
• Experience working across multiple sites or locations.
• A proactive, independent work style with a strong sense of ownership.
• Clear communication skills and a professional, positive manner with site staff.
• Essentials: Current Driver's Licence, White Card (Construction Induction), First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights, Silica Dust Hazard Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities across multiple fitness sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues on site.
• Coordinate with team and site staff for timely maintenance.
• Operate with independence and take ownership of tasks.
• Assist with asset management and preventive maintenance where required.
