Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a trade qualification or strong trade background, own tools, a current Australian driver's licence, and be comfortable working independently with a strong customer service focus.

About The Role

Reporting to the Facilities team, you'll be responsible for delivering a broad range of preventative and reactive maintenance services across commercial buildings and facilities throughout Canberra.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• General building repairs and maintenance
• Carpentry, painting, patching and finishing works
• Minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Basic HVAC and building services maintenance

About You

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Australian Citizenship
• A trade qualification or strong trade background
• Experience in commercial facilities or building maintenance
• Your own tools
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Good communication and customer service skills

Security Clearance Requirements

Candidates with any of the following will be highly regarded:

• Current NV1 Security Clearance
• Current Baseline Security Clearance
• Expired NV1 or Baseline Clearance (eligible for reactivation)
