Job summary

Boral Concrete in Melbourne's south-east seeks an experienced multi-site manager to lead operations across Clayton, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Pakenham and Port Melbourne. You will oversee plant performance, safety, quality assurance and customer service, reporting to the Operations Manager and driving cost control across sites.

You will provide safe, effective leadership to Plant Managers, manage day-to-day activities, and develop forecasts and budgets while maintaining high standards of

Qualifications

• Relevant experience and good knowledge of the concrete, construction or building materials industry
• Flexibility with working hours, including availability to work weekends when required
• Strong leadership attributes, including good people management skills
• Ability to manage, influence and build rapport with stakeholders from a variety of functions to deliver projects effectively
• Experience managing P&L statements and an understanding of finances and costs

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day activities of your allocated sites, including employees and contractors on site
• Managing the day-to-day administration of the concrete plants, including stock control of raw materials
• Reporting on cost estimates and monthly forecasts
• Managing operating assets to achieve maximum availability and productivity
• Providing superior customer service to our internal and external stakeholders as required
• Providing safe and efficient leadership to Plant Managers daily
