Job summary

Boral Limited seeks an experienced multi-site manager to lead its Concrete operations across Melbourne’s south-east, overseeing plants in Clayton, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Pakenham and Port Melbourne. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive safety, quality and financial performance while guiding site leaders and teams to excel.

The role offers a 12-month, full-time contract within a dynamic, equal-opportunity environment that values development and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in the concrete, construction or building materials sector.
• Ability to lead across multiple sites and functions.
• Proven track record of managing P&L and financials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of allocated sites across Melbourne’s south-east.
• Manage plant administration and stock control of raw materials.
• Report on cost estimates and monthly forecasts.
• Lead assets availability and productivity improvements.
• Provide safe, effective leadership to Plant Managers and teams.
• Deliver excellent internal and external stakeholder service.

Your next opportunity

We are seeking an experienced multi-site manager to join our Concrete operations, leading teams across multiple concrete production plants in Melbourne’s south-east. You will oversee our plant operations in Clayton, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Pakenham and Port Melbourne.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for the operational and financial success of the plants, championing safety in the workplace and making sure our products meet a high quality assurance standard.

Your day will involve:

• Managing the day-to-day activities of your allocated sites, including employees and contractors on site
• Managing the day-to-day administration of the concrete plants, including stock control of raw materials
• Reporting on cost estimates and monthly forecasts
• Managing operating assets to achieve maximum availability and productivity
• Providing superior customer service to our internal and external stakeholders as required
• Providing safe and efficient leadership to Plant Managers daily

What Are We Looking For?

• Relevant experience and good knowledge of the concrete, construction or building materials industry
• Flexibility with working hours, including availability to work weekends when required
• Strong leadership attributes, including good people management skills
• Ability to manage, influence and build rapport with stakeholders from a variety of functions to deliver projects effectively
• Experience managing P&L statements and an understanding of finances and costs
