Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Production Engineer for a permanent, full-time role in Northampton. The position involves day shifts and a salary dependant on experience plus benefits.

You will develop, optimise and maintain multi-axis CNC programmes using CAM software, design tooling and fixtures, and take ownership of manufacturing processes from concept through to production. The role also supports new product introduction, process development and continuous improvement on the shop floor while

Qualifications

• Proven CAM programming experience using Siemens NX or similar.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering within automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing, production engineering and fixture design.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and problem solving.
• Relevant HNC, HND, degree-level qualification or apprentice trained.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and maintain multi-axis CNC programmes using CAM software.
• Design and implement effective production tooling, fixtures and manufacturing solutions.
• Take ownership of manufacturing processes from initial concept through to production.
• Support new product introduction, process development and continuous improvement activities on the shop floor.
• Provide technical support to production teams while ensuring compliance with quality, Health & Safety.
