Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced CNC Setter Operator for a permanent role based in Northampton. You will set up and operate CNC equipment, interpret technical drawings, and ensure components meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate has Fanuc-controlled machining experience, strong tooling knowledge and a proactive approach to continuous improvement within a rotating shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining operations
• Familiarity with Fanuc control systems and programming basics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs
• Knowledge of tooling, work-holding devices and machining techniques
• Strong understanding of quality, inspection and shop floor processes

Responsibilities

• Safely set and operate CNC machinery to produce components to required standards.
• Follow procedures, work instructions and health & safety requirements.
• Communicate information and issues clearly with colleagues and shift teams.
• Identify and report production issues and support problem solving and improvements.
• Keep a clean, organized and safe working area, supporting wider department needs
