Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to generate CNC programmes and develop manufacturing methods for a high-precision, regulated environment in Northampton. The role focuses on setting up complex 5-axis processes with HyperMill and Vericut, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The candidate will design fixtures, collaborate across teams, and work with tooling suppliers to optimize solutions while supporting machining prove-out and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Extensive experience programming HyperMill and Vericut, including complex simultaneous 5-axis machining.
• Experience in highly regulated precision manufacturing, ideally in automotive, aerospace or motorsport.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
• Experience programming turning and mill-turn machining centres would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop manufacturing methods and processes to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
