Job summary

Trident IT is seeking an IT Technical Consultant to deliver projects and provide hands-on technical consultancy across Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, and networking for client environments.

The role involves travelling to client sites (Brighton-based; not remote) and working within an MSP context to install, configure, migrate, assess systems, and transfer knowledge, with a focus on building strong customer relationships and delivering clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking projects.
• Experience installing, configuring, and migrating customer environments.
• Experience with technical assessments and health checks.
• Ability to provide technical consultancy and guidance.
• Experience training customers and knowledge transfer.
• Strong documentation and handover skills.
• Experience handling escalations and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, and networking projects.
• Install, configure, and migrate customer environments.
• Conduct technical assessments, audits, and health checks.
• Provide technical consultancy and best-practice guidance.
• Deliver customer training and knowledge transfer.
• Produce accurate technical documentation and project handovers.
• Support complex technical escalations when required.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
