Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and govern enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Fabric in Sydney. You will lead data architecture, lakehouse design, data integration, governance, security, and analytics enablement, collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams.

The role focuses on modernizing legacy platforms, enabling self-service BI with Power BI, and guiding migration from diverse sources to Fabric-based solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data & Analytics Architecture with cloud platform experience.
• 3+ years in Cloud Data Platforms and Microsoft Fabric.
• Ability to design enterprise-scale data architectures and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data architecture using Fabric components.
• Define data models and implement Lakehouse patterns (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Lead data integration, governance, security, and analytics enablement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, engineers, and analytics teams.
