XPT SoftwareAustralia PTY Ltd in Sydney seeks a Fabric Data Architect to design, govern, and implement enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. You will lead lakehouse and data integration initiatives across ERP/CRM integrations and BI enablement.

The role collaborates with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, secure data solutions, migrate legacy platforms, and drive data governance and security with Purview.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data & Analytics Architecture with cloud data platforms.
• Experience designing lakehouses and medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Strong governance, security, and data quality practices.
• Proven ability to lead enterprise data projects and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data architecture using Fabric components (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory).
• Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models and standards.
• Lead migration from legacy platforms to Microsoft Fabric and modernize references.
• Build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and real-time data ingestion.
• Develop governance, RBAC, and security models; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and BI teams; support pre-sales.
