Job summary

Airpak Sheetmetal Pty Ltd – West Gosford NSW is seeking a Driver/Sheetmetal Trade Assistant to join our team. The role involves delivering ductwork to sites, vehicle checks, and basic fabrication assistance with training provided.

Casual to start, with view to permanent for the right person. Essential: MR license, White card, ability to work unsupervised, and good customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum MR license.
• White card (or willing to obtain).
• Willing to learn ductwork fabrication & assembly work.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Must pass pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screen.
• Be prepared to provide license history report for up to 5 years.
• Full permanent working rights.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Previous work references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ductwork to construction sites across Sydney/Hunter region (1–2 trips to Sydney or Canberra).
• Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks on 5.5t & 11t trucks.
• Hand load and unload as required.
• Maintain vehicle & freight documentation.
• Assist in factory to fabricate & assemble ductwork (training provided).
• Casual to start, with view to permanency for the right person.

Driver/Sheetmetal Trade Assistant to join our team based at West Gosford on the NSW Central Coast. Experience in sheetmetal not req'd - training provided

About this job:

• Delivery of ductwork to construction sites as required across Sydney/Hunter region. Typical day could include 1 or 2 deliveries to Sydney or a delivery to Canberra

• Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks (5.5t & 11t rigid tray trucks).

• Hand load & unload required

• Maintain vehicle & freight documentation

• Assist in factory to fabricate & assemble ductwork – (training provided)

• Casual to start, with view to permanent for the right person

About you - Essential:

• Minimum MR license
