Job summary

Space Services, a Sydney-based Mechanical Services and HVAC contractor, is seeking a full-time Sheetmetal (Ductwork) Installer with commercial air-conditioning experience.

The successful candidate will fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal components per drawings and specs, using power tools and fabrication machinery, and ensuring WHS compliance. A White Card, a current Australian driver’s license, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• WHS Construction General Induction may be required (White Card).
• Full current driver’s licence.
• Currently reside in Australia.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Cut, bend and assemble sheet metal components.
• Fabricate using fabrication machinery and power tools.
• Install ductwork per project plans and ensure proper fit.
• Ensure compliance with WHS standards and site safety.

About the role:

We are currently seeking applications for a full-time mechanical services Sheetmetal (Ductwork) Installer with commercial air-conditioning experience to join our expanding team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal components according to technical drawings and specifications

• WHS Construction General Induction required (White Card).
• Full current driver's licence.
• Currently reside in Australia.
• Ability to use power tools
• Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Be able to work unsupervised.Reading and interpreting drawings
• Cutting, bending, and assembling metal materials
• Operating fabrication machinery
• Ensuring compliance with WHS standards
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
