Job summary

Global Express in Toowoomba is seeking a reliable MR Driver to join our depot on a full-time permanent basis, with an early morning start Monday to Friday. You will deliver and collect bulk freight across Toowoomba and nearby regions, ensuring safe, on-time arrivals.

You must hold a current MR license, have rights to work in Australia, and a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. Overtime is available to boost earnings and support our safety-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bulk freight deliveries and pickups across Toowoomba and surrounding regions
• Ensure loads are secured correctly using load restraints (straps, chains)
• Maintain a safety-first WHS approach and report hazards or incidents
• Complete delivery paperwork and required documentation accurately
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report defects or maintenance issues
• Keep the truck clean and well-presented and manage a tidy yard/work area
• Represent Team Global Express professionally with customers and colleagues

Job description

• Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR Driver to join our Toowoomba depot, with an immediate start available.
• This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday with early morning (AM) starts.
• Overtime will be offered when applicable, providing opportunities to increase your earnings.
• Carry out bulk freight deliveries and pickups throughout Toowoomba and the surrounding regions, ensuring freight is transported safely and within required timeframes.
• Operate a Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle safely while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Ensure goods and freight are delivered in good condition and to the correct destinations.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly using appropriate load-restraint equipment, including straps and chains where required.
• Maintain a strong safety-first approach, consistently following workplace health and safety (WHS) practices and procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including reporting hazards, near misses, incidents and any safety concerns promptly.
• Complete delivery paperwork and other required documentation accurately.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report defects, maintenance issues or safety concerns as required.
• Keep the truck clean, presentable and in good working condition, while maintaining a tidy and organised yard and work area.
• Represent Team Global Express professionally when interacting with customers, colleagues and other site personnel.
