Green by Nature is Australia’s leading landscape services business, delivering stunning outdoor spaces and sustainable practices. We are seeking a hands-on team leader to manage mowing and edging crews, ensure premium workmanship, and maintain equipment.

A horticulture background is an advantage, with required safety checks and a valid driver’s license. You will work hands-on with the crew, identify any pests or diseases, and contribute to a safety-first culture and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with eye for detail and pride in creating green spaces.
• Experience in managing junior team members and coordinating day-to-day operations.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required checks (police, Working with Children).

Responsibilities

• Lead your team in mowing and edging operations using standard equipment.
• Work hands-on alongside your crew to ensure premium standards.
• Maintain tools, machinery and equipment; report progress and issues.
• Identify pests/diseases and apply appropriate treatments.
• Foster a culture of safety and accountability within the team.

What'sinvolved

• Lead team your team in mowing and edging operations (Ventrac and zero turns, Toro Proline H800, push mowers, Atom edgers and brushcutters)
• Workhands-onalongside your team
• Ensure works are completed to a premium standard
• Maintain tools, machinery, andequipment
• Report on progress, issues, and requirements
• Pest and disease identification and treatment
• Foster a culture of safety

What you'll bring

You will be a hands-on leader with an eye for detail who takes pride in creating amazing green spaces.

• Qualifications in Horticulture or related field is an advantage, but your experience with a wide variety of mowing and garden maintenance tools and techniques is the key to success in this role
• Experience in managing junior and less experienced team members
• Strong commitment to safety
• Valid Drivers' license is essential
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
