Job summary

Green by Nature, Australia’s largest, award-winning landscape services business, is seeking a Lead Gardener to manage and mentor a team of gardeners and apprentices at iconic Parramatta Park.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens is essential.
• Proven ability to supervise junior team members.
• Current driver’s licence is essential.
• WWVP; Police Check & White Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members and apprentices.
• Work hands-on with your team.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard.
• Operate and support the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Report progress, issues, and requirements to your manager.
• Pest and disease identification and treatment.
• Foster a culture of safety.
