GreenLife Group in Sydney is seeking reliable mower and brushcutter operators to join our open spaces team. Immediate start, great team support, and opportunity to work across Sydney on varied landscaping projects. You will manage grounds maintenance, operate mowing equipment, and maintain safety and PPE protocols.

The role requires a current LR licence, 2+ years of experience, and willingness to work outdoors as part of a crew. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience operating mowing equipment.
• Experience with zero turn, ride-on mowers and tractors is essential.

GLG NSW are seeking suitably qualified staff to work on our mowing and gardening teams for various clients across the Sydney area working from our Smeaton Grange Depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage grounds maintenance tasks using associated plant and equipment, including brushcutting, hedging, blowing, weeding, zero turn mowers and tractors.
• Operate various mowing equipment, blowers and brushcutters safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is regularly maintained and in safe working order.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct regular site inspections, to assess the quality of work and report any issues to your supervisor.
• Manage waste disposal and ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy.

What you need

• Must hold a current LR licence as the minimum driver's licence requirement.
• Skill in operating and maintaining mowing equipment safely and effectively.
• Minimum 2+ years experience operating mowing equipment is required.
• Experience operating zero turn mowers, ride-on mowers, and tractors is essential.
• A willingness to work outdoors as part of a team.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
• A legal right to work in Australia.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
