Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a Mower Operator to maintain public parks and reserves in the Knox area. The role involves mowing, detailing, litter removal, and herbicide knowledge to keep spaces pristine.

You will operate and maintain machinery, record activities, and report issues. A valid licence and outdoor work readiness are essential, with ongoing safety training and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid C Class Manual Licence.
• Ride-on mower experience essential.
• Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment.
• Knowledge of herbicide applications and techniques.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check.

• Permanent Full-time position (Monday - Friday)
• Depot based at Canning Vale WA
• Company vehicle provided

About the Role

As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities:

• Open space maintenance of council reserves across municipality of Knox
• Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed spraying
• Safely operating and maintaining machinery
• Ensuring all work is accurately recorded
• Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery

About You

• Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) Licence
• Ride on Mower experience essential
• Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
• Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment
• Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
