NR Timber Pty Ltd in Coombell, NSW is seeking an experienced Timber Machinist / Moulder Operator. The role offers flexibility to be full-time or casual, contributing to our manufacturing operations at our Coombell facility.

You will set up and operate a Wadkin 6-head moulding machine, maintain tooling, monitor output, and ensure quality while upholding health and safety protocols and recording production data. NSW-based opportunity with potential for additional hours.

Job description

NR Timber Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Timber Machinist / Moulder Operator to join the team at our Coombell, NSW facility. This position has the flexibility to be full time or casual, providing an important contribution to our manufacturing operations. As a Moulder Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a multi-head moulding machine to produce our unique timber products. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production line, ensuring we meet our customer standards and delivery timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operation of our Wadkin 6-head industrial moulding machine
• Prepare and change tooling to suit production profiles
• Monitor production output to ensure quality standards are consistently met
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and report equipment faults or irregularities
• Implement safe work practices and adhere to all health and safety protocols
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance to specifications
• Maintain accurate production records
• Communicate effectively with your supervisor regarding production progress and operational matters
• Assisting with other general mill operations
