Job description

Reporting to the Mould Shop Manager, this role is a part of the maintenance team for analysing specifications to assemble parts to make and repair dies with the use of machining and power tools. This is a full time permanent position working day shift hours at our busy Glass plant in Penrith.

What You Will Do

• Reading of blueprints and drawing specifications
• Making parts to modify or repair mould gear
• Machine operation of machining, power tools, and welding equipment
• Quality assurance on completed works
• Check and maintain stock levels of materials required
• Adhere to all Work, Health & Safety policies, and procedures

What You Will Bring

• Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner
• Min. 3-4 years’ experience or qualified 1st Class Machinist/Fitter
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office and SAP
• Excellent communication skills
• Great work ethic
