Job summary

Adecco Australia Group is seeking a reliable Mould Shop Operator to join their Bayswater manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on mould preparation and pouring, with emphasis on quality, safety and meeting production schedules.

Key duties include mould tool preparation, gel coating, PVA application, PVC cutting and responsible forklift and overhead crane operation, while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the wider production group to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Current forklift licence and safe operation experience.
• Experience operating overhead crane or willingness to demonstrate competency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble and maintain mould tools for production and pouring.
• Perform gel coating, PVA application, PVC cutting and mould masking.
• Assist with mould tool maintenance and general production tasks.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely per licensing requirements.
• Follow production schedules to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Identify and report quality issues, hazards and equipment faults.
• Complete required production documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Follow all WHS procedures, including wearing PPE.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support production targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and minimise waste.

Adecco is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Mould Shop Operator to join a manufacturing team in Bayswater. In this hands-on role, you will support mould preparation and pouring activities to meet production schedules while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Your duties will include mould assembly, gel coating, PVA application, PVC cutting and mould tool maintenance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for safely operating a forklift and overhead crane, maintaining accurate documentation and working collaboratively with the wider production team to meet deadlines and support continuous improvement.

This is an afternoon shift position, working from 1:00 pm to 9:06 pm.
