Auto & General is seeking a Head of Motor Underwriting to shape risk selection and underwriting processes across the motor portfolio. You will lead the Motor Technical Underwriting and Case Underwriting teams to achieve growth and profitability while ensuring regulatory adherence and continuous improvement.

You will drive automation, partner with cross-functional teams, and deliver strategic initiatives that optimise resources and outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of domestic motor underwriting, product development, portfolio management or pricing experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory regimes and insurance legislation.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams and innovation in underwriting.
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse portfolio data and present insights to boards and partners.
