Job summary

Kilmore Toyota in Kilmore, VIC is seeking a qualified motor mechanic to join the service team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role covers repairs, scheduled servicing, diagnostics and component upgrades across all makes and models.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, has at least three years of hands-on experience, and works well within a team to deliver quality workmanship and clear communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Ideally at least three years’ experience as a qualified motor mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturers’ requirements for all makes and models.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance servicing.
• Service and repair vehicles per the repair order within allocated time.
• GVM upgrades, accessory fitting, and suspension upgrades.

Job Description
Kilmore Toyota is currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join their team in Kilmore VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance in line with the manufacturers’ requirements for all make and models


• The ability to perform scheduled maintenance servicing


• The capacity to service and repair vehicles as per the repair order with the allocated time


• GVM upgrades, accessory fitting, suspension upgrades


• Good verbal and written communications skills


• Strong diagnostics capabilities

Skills and Abilities:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent


• Ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified motor mechanic


• A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair


• The ability to work in a team environment
