Job summary

Village Motor Group in North Lakes, QLD is seeking qualified Motor Mechanics to join our Service Department. You will perform repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards across all makes and models.

Key requirements include solid diagnostics ability, good communication, and the ability to work in a team. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) and at least three years' experience are preferred. The salary range is $70,000-$85,000 AUD per year.

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum three years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Extensive repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturers' requirements.
• Perform scheduled maintenance servicing.
• Service and repair vehicles per repair order within allocated time.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and diagnostics.

Job Description

Village Motor Group based in North Lakes in QLD is currently recruiting for qualified and experienced Motor Mechanics to join their Service Departments. Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:

• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance in line with the manufacturers' requirements for all make and models
• The ability to perform scheduled maintenance servicing
• The capacity to service and repair vehicles as per the repair order with the allocated time
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Strong diagnostics capabilities

Skills & Abilities:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Ideally have a minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
• A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• The ability to work in a team environment
