Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia in Moranbah is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our client’s tyre and mechanical business on a full-time basis. You will handle automotive technology across all aspects of the trade, with emphasis on engine service, maintenance, and repair, following brand specifications.

Candidates must hold AQF Certificate III in automobile trade or equivalent and have at least two years of relevant experience; three years can substitute.

Qualifications

• Hold AQF Certificate III in automobile trade or equivalent.
• At least two years of similar occupation experience.
• Able to work unsupervised and follow brand specifications.
• Proficient in service, maintenance and repair of engines and mechanical parts.
• Experience with wheel alignment and fitting is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair engines and mechanical components.
• Disassemble and reassemble engine parts after repair.
• Perform fault finding and quick breakdown responses.
• Hydraulics/pneumatic experience is advantageous.

Our Client, a well established Tyre and Mechanical business who provides high quality products to their clients. Currently they are looking for a full time skilled and experienced Motor Mechanics
to join their dynamic team.

You must have experience working in automotive industry, involve with all aspects of automobile technology with formal qualification in automotive field. The workshop is clean and tidy with excellent facilities.

To secure this position it is essential that you;

• Hold AQF Certificate III in automobile trade or equivalent including at least two years of similar occupation experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
• Ability to work unsupervised and following brand specifications
• Ability to troubleshoot and work proactively as part of a team
• Proven experience in service, maintenance and repair engines and mechanical parts
• disassemble and reassemble engine parts after repair
• Sound experience in fault finding and fast breakdown response
• Hydraulics/Pneumatic experience will be highly regarded but not essential

Experience with wheel alignment and fitting would be highly regarded

Your creativity and specialized skills in automotive work is highly regarded.

Excellent salary package + Super (Between $73,150 to $ 80,000.00)plus superannuation Fulltime position.
