Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic for a full-time role with a well-established truck and haulage company and commercial vehicles dealership. You must have AQF Certificate III in automobile trade or equivalent, with at least two years of similar experience; three years may substitute.

The workshop is clean and well-equipped. Join a team that values troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and adherence to brand specifications.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work proactively as part of a team.
• Proven experience in service, maintenance and repair engines and mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair engines and mechanical parts.
• Disassemble and reassemble engine parts after repair.
• Troubleshoot faults and respond to fast breakdowns.
• Work unsupervised and follow brand specifications.

Job description

Our Client, a well established Truck and Haulage company and a commercial vehicles dealership who provides high quality products to their clients. Currently they are looking for a full time skilled and experienced Motor Mechanics to join their dynamic team.

You must have experience working in automotive industry, involve with all aspects of automobile technology with formal qualification in automotive field. The workshop is clean and tidy with excellent facilities.

To secure this position it is essential that you;

• Hold AQF Certificate III in automobile trade or equivalent including at least two years of similar occupation experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
• Ability to work unsupervised and following brand specifications
• Ability to troubleshoot and work proactively as part of a team
• Proven experience in service, maintenance and repair engines and mechanical parts
• disassemble and reassemble engine parts after repair
• Sound experience in fault finding and fast breakdown response
• Hydraulics/Pneumatic experience will be highly regarded but not essential
• Your creativity and specialized skills in automotive work is highly regarded.

Excellent salary package + Super (Between $85,000 to $ 95,000.00)plus superannuation Fulltime position.
