Skilled Jobs Australia seeks a skilled Motor Mechanic for a full-time position with an established mechanical business in Yeppoon, QLD. The role requires hands-on automotive expertise across all aspects of technology and a commitment to high-quality service.

Essential: AQF Certificate III in automobile trade (or equivalent) with at least two years of experience; ability to work unsupervised, fault finding, and engine/mechanical repairs. Hydraulics/Pneumatics optional.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in automobile trade (or equivalent) with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised and follow brand specifications.
• Proven experience in service, maintenance and repair engines and mechanical parts.
• Sound fault finding and quick breakdown response.

Responsibilities

• Provide service, maintenance and repair of engines and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform diagnostic checks.
• Work as part of a team to ensure quality workmanship and timely repairs.

Our client, an established mechanical business who provides high quality service to their clients. Currently they are looking for a full time skilled and experienced Motor Mechanics
to join their dynamic team.

You must have experience working in automotive industry, involve with all aspects of automobile technology with formal qualification in automotive field. The workshop is clean and tidy with excellent facilities.

• -Hold AQF Certificate III in automobile trade or equivalent including at least two years of similar occupation experience.
• -At least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
• -Ability to work unsupervised and following brand specifications
• -Ability to troubleshoot and work proactively as part of a team
• -Proven experience in service, maintenance and repair engines and mechanical parts
• -disassemble and reassemble engine parts after repair
• -Sound experience in fault finding and fast breakdown response
• -Hydraulics/Pneumatic experience will be highly regarded but not essential

Your creativity and specialized skills in automotive work is highly regarded.
Excellent salary package + Super (Between $73,000 to $ 80,000.00) plus superannuation Fulltime position.
