Job summary

DB MECHANICAL AND TYRES PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic for full-time, permanent work in Raceview, QLD. The role covers diagnosing, servicing and repairing motor vehicles and their mechanical components, with attention to quality and safety.

You will work with a team in a well-equipped workshop, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and service manuals.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in Automotive/Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a related field; 1-3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair motor vehicles and their mechanical components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
• Service and maintain engines, brakes, steering, suspension and transmission systems.
• Inspect, repair and replace worn or defective vehicle components.
• Perform scheduled servicing, oil changes, lubrication and tune-ups.
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults and test after repairs.

Our client, DB MECHANICAL AND TYRES PTY LTD, is looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic to support its vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair operations. Job Title: Motor Mechanic- Full time - Permanent

Salary: $75000 - $85000 per annum + super Responsibility: Diagnosing, servicing and repairing motor vehicles and their mechanical components.

Location: 5/25 E Owen St, Raceview, QLD, 4305 Duties: Diagnoses mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles;

Services and maintains engines, brakes, steering, suspension and transmission systems; Inspects, repairs and replaces worn or defective vehicle components; Performs scheduled servicing, oil changes, lubrication and tune-ups;

Uses computerised diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults; Tests and adjusts vehicles after repairs to ensure proper performance; Follows manufacturer specifications and relevant service manuals;

Maintains proper records of servicing and repair work; Maintains a clean, organised and safe workshop. Qualification:
