IAG is seeking a Motor Assessor to apply technical expertise in delivering fair, timely motor claim outcomes. You will assess vehicle damage, determine repair methods and costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while meeting customer expectations.

Based at Eight Mile Plains (Meanjin/Brisbane), with flexibility for Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast applicants. You’ll engage with members, repairers, and internal teams to achieve strong commercial and customer outcomes while upholding

Formación

• Relevant experience in motor assessing or a related trade environment.
• Trade qualifications in panel beating, spray painting or motor mechanics are essential.
• Strong knowledge of motor repair industry practices and assessment methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and quantify motor claims in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
• Apply industry and manufacturer‑approved repair methods to determine fair settlements.
• Build relationships with members, repairers and internal teams.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience with empathy and care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support cost‑effective repair strategies while upholding safety.
