PS Invest PTY LTD is seeking a Motel Receptionist to join our hospitality team in Yass NSW. This full-time role is the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional service and smooth daily operations at our motel.

You will greet guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, handle bookings, payments, and guest inquiries, while coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction. Accommodation is provided onsite as part of the role.

PS Invest PTY LTD is seeking a Motel Receptionist to join our hospitality team in Yass NSW. This is a full-time position that serves as the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our motel. As a Motel Receptionist, you will be the facade of our establishment, responsible for creating welcoming first impressions and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests upon arrival and providing a warm, professional welcome to the motel
• Processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy with bookings and records
• Managing room allocations and responding to special requests from guests
• Handling guest enquiries and resolving complaints professionally and courteously
• Processing payments and managing the front desk cash register
• Booking accommodation for guests and answering questions about local attractions and services in Yass
• Maintaining detailed records of guest information and preferences
• Ensuring the front desk area remains tidy, organised and welcoming
• Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries
• Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
• Performing general administrative duties and assisting with front office operations
• Stock handling and order as required monthly or weekly
• will require to perform laundry duties as part of the role.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a front office, reception or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail when managing bookings and records
• Proficiency in using computer systems and motel management software (training provided if necessary)
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest complaints or challenging situations
• A friendly, welcoming demeanour and genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service
• Reliability and punctuality with the flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions and billing
