Job summary

Hajama Pty Ltd invites applications for a housekeeper position at our newly renovated 4-star motel in Long Jetty. You will ensure clean, sanitary and welcoming spaces for guests, and contribute to a high-quality guest experience.

Successful candidates will have prior housekeeping experience in a similar setting, a commitment to high cleanliness standards, and flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, public holidays and school holidays. ABN holders are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role at a 4+ star motel or hotel is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Flexibility to work across 7 days, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, public areas, linen rooms and cupboards to 4-star standards.
• Perform mopping and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchenettes.
• Replenish amenities and ensure rooms are presented to guests’ expectations.
• Deep cleans, window cleaning and replenishing guest supplies as required.
• Report damages or malfunctions to your supervisor promptly.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order.
• Record room status accurately in the allocated section.

Our motel is located in Long Jetty, a 30-room 4-star motel that is currently undergoing a complete renovation and is one of the most respected motel in the area. Your new role

This role will require the successful applicant to assist with keeping all areas clean, sanitary, and welcoming while also ensuring customer experience is at the highest level of quality for our valued guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleans and maintains guest rooms, guest corridors, public area, linen rooms and cupboards according to set standards and procedures
• Mopping
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchenettes
• Replenish amenities as required.
• Ensure rooms are presented to the 4-star standard as expected by our guests
• Deep cleans
• Window cleaning
• Replenishes guest supplies
• Ensureproperused ofthechemical
• Reports damage or malfunction inmotel rooms to superior
• Maintains equipment in proper state of cleanliness
• Reports and submits lost and found articles to superior immediately
• Report guest complaints to superior immediately
• Reports unusual behavior/activities on floors to supervisor
• Records room status in allocated section accurately

Qualifications:

To be successful for this casual work, you will:

• Have experience in a similar role at a 4+ star motel the willingness to learn,
• Ensure our high standards of cleanliness are maintained,
• Flexibility over 7 days is preferable, availability to work weekday, weekends, public holidays and school holidays is required.

Candidates on ABN would be preferred!
