The Oaks Hotel Motel in Wollongong, Illawarra & South Coast NSW is hiring casual Housekeepers to join our hospitality team. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas are immaculate and welcoming, contributing to exceptional guest experiences and the hotel's reputation.

As a Housekeeper, you will perform cleaning, linen changes, restocking amenities, and maintain safety standards. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning or a similar cleaning role is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy items.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Reliability and a professional attitude towards work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements in the hospitality industry.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to the highest standards, including changing bed linens, replacing towels and restocking amenities.
• Performing thorough cleaning of bathrooms, including sanitising toilets, showers, baths and sinks.
• Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors in guest rooms and common areas.
• Dusting furniture, surfaces and fixtures throughout assigned areas.
• Emptying and replacing waste bins and recycling containers.
• Cleaning and maintaining public areas such as lobbies, corridors, stairwells and common spaces.
• Reporting maintenance issues or room damage to management immediately.
• Using and storing cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly in accordance with health and safety protocols.
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
• Following all housekeeping procedures and adhering to health and safety standards.
• Working efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules and room turnaround times.
• You will be required to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

The Oaks Hotel Motel is a modern Hotel Motel operation offering a Family Bistro, Bottle Shop, Beergarden, Entertainment, Bars, Wagering and a busy modern 14 Room Motel Plus 1 Fully Self Contained 2 Bedroom Apartment.

The Oaks Hotel Motel is seeking Housekeepers to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. Based in Wollongong, Illawarra & South Coast NSW, this role is fundamental to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our properties.

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas and facilities are immaculate, comfortable and welcoming. This position plays a vital role in our commitment to guest satisfaction and the overall success of our hotel operations.

What you'll be doing
