  • Maintain strong relationships with Mortgage Managers, Introducers, and internal teams.
  • Respond promptly to queries, providing high-quality, customer-focused service.
  • Assist in educating sales teams and originators on products, processes, and policies.
  • Ensure all lending decisions comply with credit policy, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
  • Highlight and recommend product or policy amendments to support innovation and risk management.
  • Support high‑quality reporting and monitoring of applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
If the following sounds like you, you'll be a great fit:
  • Proven experience in residential credit assessment within a third‑party/broker origination channel.
  • An active DLA of $1 million or more is highly regarded but not essential.
  • 2-5+ years’ experience in mortgage underwriting or credit assessment, with a strong understanding of residential lending processes.
  • Strong understanding of credit policies, market practices, and relevant State and Federal regulatory laws.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to assess a high volume of loans efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and a customer‑focused approach.
