Job summary

RAC Mortgage Broking Service in Western Australia is seeking a Mortgage Broker to guide members through the home finance journey, from initial conversation to settlement, prioritising connection, problem‑solving and exceptional service.

You will assess needs, research lending solutions across lenders, structure applications end-to-end, and build strong relationships with lenders, BDMs, real estate and settlement agents.

Qualifications

  • Cert IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in mortgage broking, home lending, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of lending regulations (NCCP, AML/CTF, Privacy) and proven sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support members in understanding their financial situation and goals.
  • Provide expert advice on home loan products across multiple lenders.
  • Structure and assess applications end-to-end with accuracy and compliance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with lenders, BDMs, real estate agents, settlement agents and internal stakeholders.

Job description

Join RAC Mortgage Broking Service as a Mortgage Broker and make a real impact on the financial confidence of members across WA. This role will be perfect for someone who thrives on connection, problem‑solving, and delivering exceptional customer service. With a growing member base of over 1.3 million, you’ll be the trusted partner for current and future members as they navigate the home finance journey. You’ll assess their needs, research a range of lending solutions, and guide them from the initial conversation, right through to settlement — ensuring a seamless, supportive, and member‑first experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Support members in understanding their financial situation and future goals
  • Provide expert advice on suitable home loan products across multiple lenders
  • Structure and assess applications end‑to‑end, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, BDMs, real estate agents, settlement agents, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive quality referral networks and repeat business
  • Stay current with lending regulations, industry developments, and best practice
  • Champion RAC’s culture and LEAD behaviours in everything you do
What You’ll Bring
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in mortgage broking, home lending, or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of lending regulations (NCCP, AML/CTF, Privacy)
  • Proven sales performance and an ability to build profitable referral networks
  • Exceptional communication, analytical and relationship‑building skills
  • High attention to detail and strong time management
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • A WA driver’s license is required, along with some flexibility for client meetings and occasional after‑hours availability.
