Job summary

Talent International is seeking an experienced Technical Transition Lead to drive end-to-end migration of ICT systems and digital records in a MoG project based in Brisbane CBD. The role requires collaboration with SLTs, SMEs and cross-agency teams to deliver the transition roadmap within a hybrid agile framework.

Key deliverables include managing data transfers, governance artefacts, and stakeholder engagement to secure endorsements and sign-offs from executives and business owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a Lead Technical BA or Product Owner role on large-scale data transition projects.
• Proven ability to work with business SMEs, technical resources and end users.
• Ability to plan, document and execute digital record transfers within program timelines.
• Strong skills in translating complex data/transition needs into concise documentation for executives.
• Experience mapping data and systems migration, operating models and aligning end users to new functions.
• Familiarity with MoG or government project frameworks and agile practices.
• Knowledge of Change Management; experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of in-scope systems and data transition activities.
• Lead records management, data governance, and risk mitigation artefacts.
• Generate and review transition artefacts to ensure governance and visibility.
• Engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Organise workshops and meetings to capture requirements and secure decisions.
• Represent the agency in cross-functional and cross-agency forums.
